Today's my birthday.  And, i'm sooooo one of those people who celebrate.  

Here i am doing what feeds my soul the most: dancing + photography (there was camera wrapped around my wrist.)

Walking on a dream

14 years ago, i met this man (CP) and we've been together ever since.  Along the way we've picked up a few things: a mortgage, kids, a sensible car, weight...

All things considered it still feels like yesterday and my life very much resembles the things dreams are made of.  

it went beyond sharing good times and sadness.

it went beyond sharing love and passions.

what they shared was Life in its truest sense

-the opening and the flow

and the becoming more of who they are.

These words are on our bedroom door- a gift i gave CP in 2004.  They rang true then and ring true now.  

And, for that i am deeply humbled and forever grateful.

Happy Anniversary, CP.

The light was perfect, super soft, gentle.  The mood matched. And, as i  turned to leave I felt like i was leaving with a little piece of magic...

It's not a stretch to say i grew up with Oprah.  I'll humbly and modestly say - I've been a fan of her's since the beginning; my sister has too.  Since she is 'the doer' of the family,  she wrote to  let the divine Ms. O know.  In response, she was sent this picture with a thanks you note.

When people ask 5, 10 years from now what i was doing May 25 @ 4:00 pm?"  My answer:

  Living in denial.
